CA EMC activities

• Development of normative documents and technical requirements relating to ensuring of electromagnetic compatibility of civil radio equipment, its emission characteristics as well as limits for permissible interference levels from industrial sources.
• Studies on spectrum demands for civil radio services and development of recommendations on implementation of new advanced telecommunication technologies that allow integrating Russian national and international infrastructures.
• Studies on technical and economic aspects of spectrum usage efficiency and provision of required spectrum to diverse radio services in Russia.
• Creation of basis for Russian Administration on issues concerning frequency allocations, spectrum usage and sharing studies at Conferences and Meetings of ITU and other international organizations.
• Preparation of framework for international legal protection of Russian frequency assignments to civil radio communication systems.
• Preparation of draft regulation documents concerning cost-efficient methods of spectrum management.
• Development, assessment and support of methodology, special software and dataware projects on spectrum management systems and compatibility analysis of radio equipment for Russian radio agencies and services.
• Gathering, support and processing of information relating to spectrum management, specifications of radio equipment and communication systems and their operating environment.
• Preparation of technical conclusions on applications submitted by Russian legal entities and individuals in the field of radio spectrum usage by civil radio equipment.
• Consulting on compatibility and sharing issues of civil radio equipment.
• Scientific and technical support of activities to update and advance radio monitoring of civil radio equipment emissions.
• Submission of proposals to Russia’s State Radio Frequency Service on scientific rationale and formulation of State technical policy in the field of spectrum usage and EMC of civil radio equipment.
• Holding of national and international conferences and workshops dedicated to development of civil radio equipment and systems in Russia and provision of their EMC, and for the purpose to train specialists engaged in spectrum management organizations of Russia.
